Sat. a.m. Hike
You are to be commended if you choose a healthy pursuit as another way for fun and visiting with classmates! The outing that Don Snyder and Terry Anderson Millett have planned for you will provide good exercise, nice vistas and fresh air without being too strenuous. Length will be about two hours (about 1 1/2 miles from the trail head). Terry has also volunteered to lead an encoure excursion on additional trails in the area if several of you want to stay out a little longer.

2. Provide your cell phone# and where you are staying
3. Start time will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (23rd). Meet in the parking lot south of the Jack In The Box (between Jack's and the Albertson's gas station) on the west side of China Lake Blvd. Look for Don's silver softop Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and signs
4. Wear light colored, layered clothing. Last weekend we were enjoying beautiful weather in the high 80s / low 90s - but this week is overcast and cool - so bring jackets but also be able to "shed" if it gets warm.
5. Wear COMFORTABLE well-broken-in shoes (so you can dance later!).
6. Wear a hat and sun glasses
7. Wear sun screen
8. Bring water
9. In the fairly unlikely event that there is heavy rain - or the more likely event that there are really strong w _ _ _ _ (you do remember the superstition that to say that awful word might bring it upon us) and it is prudent to cancel - YOU WILL BE CONTACTED. Don't try calling Terry and Don along with 20 other classmates. Just keep your cell phone charged and check messages before starting out.
