China Lake Base Tour Signup

Hello Classmates,

We need to know who is interested in going on a short driving tour around the China Lake Naval Base (route pre-approved by NAWS Public Affairs Office and CLPD).  This activity will not require completing a security vetting, as participants will be passengers of a retired civilian classmate with the privilege of bringing several guests onto the base in his/her vehicle.  This means the number of participants will be dependent on the number of eligible driver escorts available.  We will try to oblige all with an interest. 

• Participation requests are limited to a classmate and a significant other/accompanying guest
• Space will be assigned in the order of surveys received
• If requests exceed resources, preference will be given to out-of-town classmates/guests.   We could then try to organize a post-reunion opportunity for those "bumped" who live in the area

Tours planned are:

• Friday morning, 0900
• Friday afternoon, 1400 (2:00pm)
• Sunday morning, 1030

 Again, number of available drivers will be a determining factor.  If you or a spouse has a badge that allows you to escort up to four passengers onto the base (look at top back of your badge), please help out.

If you can be flexible as to which tour time you participate in, please indicate that.  Some classmates' travel schedules or other volunteer/activity commitments may limit their opportunities.
